Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Fajro Android app and the website at fajro.app. By using Fajro, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The service
Fajro provides prayer times, a Qibla compass, azkar, duas, a daily worship tracker, a tasbeeh counter and optional premium features such as cloud sync, groups and widgets.
2. Accounts
You may use the core features without an account. If you create an account, you must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share your account or use another person’s account without permission.
3. Subscriptions and purchases
- Fajro Premium is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription through Google Play.
- The price, billing period and any trial terms are shown before you purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in the Google Play Store. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play’s policies. Except where required by law or Google Play policy, payments are non-refundable.
- We may change premium features or pricing with reasonable notice; changes apply to future billing periods.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Fajro for unlawful purposes or to harass, threaten or harm others.
- Create group names or content that is abusive, hateful, illegal or misleading.
- Attempt to access accounts, servers or data that are not yours.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the app or service.
- Circumvent subscription or entitlement checks.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
5. Groups and user content
Groups are private and invite-based. You are responsible for the group name and any content you add. You grant us a limited licence to store and display that content to members of your group so the feature can work. We may remove content or groups that violate these terms. We do not guarantee that group content is accurate or appropriate.
6. Religious content
Prayer times are calculated using recognised astronomical methods and may differ from your local mosque due to method, location, elevation or rounding. Qibla direction depends on device sensors and calibration. Translations of azkar and duas are provided for understanding and may not capture every nuance. Fajro is a tool, not a substitute for scholarly or local religious guidance. Please verify important matters with a qualified scholar and your local mosque.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Fajro available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
8. Third-party services
Fajro uses Google Play Billing for purchases, OpenStreetMap for map tiles, and hosting/DNS providers. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms and privacy policies.
9. Disclaimers
Fajro is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that prayer times, Qibla direction, translations or other content will be error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fajro and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Termination
You may stop using Fajro at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or to protect the service and its users.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
